When I finish cackling hysterically I am adding this to my watch list.
At the very least I need to see how the show portrays the niece who's getting a PhD at Caltech because I am expecting it will be almost as inaccurate as the admissions office aspects.
Oh, you are in for a treat. The niece is amazing (and amazingly unrealistic). That said, the cast is pitch-perfect and it's obvious that they're all having a delightful time acting together, which makes up for a LOT.
Oh my gosh! Between this & Gilmore Girls you’ve been knee deep in some real delusions. Where’s the show about a kid who goes to a good enough state college I ask?
I guess watching shows about deluded people is more entertaining? But I would one hundred percent watch a show about a kid going to a good enough state college. The closest I’ve seen was the character of Heather—a perpetual student at the local community college—on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Of course she was a supporting character; the neurotic and mostly miserable main character went to the Best Schools, which clearly did not solve any of her problems. So ha!
I want to sit around in pajamas with you mystery-science-theater-3000-ing the shit out of shows and movies.
OMG I would love that so much!!!
It’d be so fun!

I second that there should totally be a Princess College.
Right??? Someone open one immediately!

I’m so glad I didn’t see this episode because I would have thrown my laptop at the television.
I may or may not have yelled profanities at the screen.
